 Generally, it can be distinguished from the air outlet. If the airflow is blowing from the front panel, it is a single motor. If the air is coming from the top cover of the air conditioner, it is a dual motor. 
 
 Dual motor unit will be more energy-saving, and with better cooling effect and less noise. 
 
 How is the noise Level? 
 
 The noise Level of High/Low is 52/49 db, so the low fan is quiet and suit for sleep. And the high speed is suitable for rapid cooling, but it may be a little louder.
